We finish hardware projects that other people started

The freelancer left. The agency became too expensive. The schematic came from an AI tool and nobody checked it. The boards came back and half of them reset. We take the project over and continue from what is good, instead of starting again.

What we typically inherit

Five common starting points

Every one of these is a normal day for us. None of them needs to become a full redesign.

Case A

Dev-board prototypes from software teams

ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi or evaluation kits connected with jumper wires, with application code already written. We turn it into a real board and keep your code working.

Case B

AI-assisted or unreviewed schematics

Plausible at first sight, but with missing pull-ups, wrong footprints, unprotected inputs or parts that do not exist. We review line by line and fix before anything is ordered.

Case C

Projects from an unavailable designer

A freelancer or agency delivered part of the work and is gone. We collect whatever exists, including e-mails and notes, and rebuild the missing context.

Case D

Boards that do not work

Resets, overheating, communication errors or unit-to-unit differences. We debug on the bench, find the root cause and give you a fixed next revision.

Case E

Industrial re-engineering

A product in the field with obsolete parts, lost documentation or a cost problem. We reconstruct the design, replace what is obsolete and document it properly.

Send us what you have

After our NDA, upload files in any format, photos, code and notes. We tell you in writing which case you are in and what it takes to finish.

Takeover · 4 steps

How a takeover runs

The audit is a small fixed-price step. You decide how to continue with its results in hand.

  1. NDA and intake

You sign our NDA, then upload everything that exists: design files in any format, firmware, BOMs, photos, test notes, correspondence with the previous designer.

  2. Audit

A written review from €290 (up to 150 components): what is sound, what is risky, what is wrong, with references to the design.

  3. Plan

Options to keep, fix or redesign each part, with a fixed price per phase. You choose.

  4. Continue

We continue in the same project, keep your history and deliver the finished design with full documentation.

Questions about takeovers

Is it cheaper to start the design again?

Rarely. Most inherited designs are 70 to 90 percent sound. The audit tells you exactly which parts to keep, fix or redo, and what each option costs, before you commit.

Can you work from a physical board without design files?

Yes. We can reconstruct the schematic from a board and its Gerber files or by inspection. This is also how we approach industrial re-engineering of products whose original designer is gone or whose parts are obsolete.

The previous designer used a tool you do not use. Is that a problem?

Usually not. We import most formats into KiCad. When a project must stay in its original tool, we agree it before starting.

Will you tell us if the previous work was poor?

We will tell you what works, what does not and why, in writing and with evidence. The report is about the design, not about the people.

Send us what you have. We tell you what it takes to finish it.
