PCB layout
Layout decides whether the board passes EMC, runs cool and can be assembled at a reasonable price. We lay out with the fabricator's rules and the assembly house's constraints in hand, not in a vacuum.
Multilayer PCB layout with stack-up, impedance, thermal and EMC decisions made deliberately, ready for fabrication and assembly.
When you need it
- The schematic is done and reviewed.
- You have a layout that fails EMC, overheats, or has noise problems.
- Your mechanical enclosure is fixed and the board has to fit it.
What you hand us
- Reviewed schematic and BOM.
- Board outline, connector positions and height limits (DXF or STEP).
- Target fabricator and assembler if you already have them.
What you get back
- PCB layout with documented stack-up and design rules.
- Gerber or ODB++ files, drill files, pick-and-place and assembly drawings.
- 3D model (STEP) for mechanical integration.
- Layout review report: power integrity, return paths, thermal, clearances for the relevant voltage class.
How we do it
We place for function first: power stages, high-current loops and noisy switching nodes get the shortest paths, sensitive analog gets its own quiet corner, and every fast signal has a continuous return path. Impedance-controlled traces are calculated with the fabricator's actual stack-up.
Before release, the design goes through DRC, a manual review against a checklist and a DFM check with the chosen manufacturer.
Questions about pcb layout
Can you lay out a schematic someone else designed?
Yes. We review it first because layout exposes schematic mistakes, and we flag anything that affects cost or reliability before routing.
Do you handle high-current and RF boards?
Yes. Heavy-copper power boards and controlled-impedance lines for USB 2.0 and RF modules are routine. We do not take high-speed digital designs such as DDR memory, PCIe or multi-gigabit links.
Send us what you have. We tell you what it takes to finish it.
